School Fete

This series of Photographs really does what it says on the tin. I visited a School fete sometime one summer. Nobody had arrived yet so it was empty, except for the organisers and a few friends and family members, whom I guess would be called helpers. The fete itself was organised around the perimeter of a small playing field, giving each stand ample room to set up and allow a crowd to gather when they eventually arrived. Most of the stands were challenge themed – i.e throwing balls or guessing games and the likes and there were many prizes to be won. As it was empty i decided to go around the field and look at each stand in turn – taking my best shot ( with camera ) as I went along.  This is a prelude to the very exciting day ahead.
