Punch On

Lots of Photographs of the front ends of huge trucks motoring along on US highways. These trucks are moving fast, and the photographs were made from the window of a moving car, in the adjacent lane, which in its self was a challenge. At times it felt like a race, maybe a race to see the landscape beyond the front fender. Or maybe a race between the hunter and the game. These vehicles are so meaty and so powerful, even when stationary, but they become more ferocious at 70 mph. They become like wild animals running across the land, free as long as the gas lasts. It was exciting taking these pictures. I  tried allow the trucks and the landscape to share the frame, while it was moving. These are landscape photographs with truck heads in them , or truck photographs set against the passing landscapes of roadside America.
